Our favorite eco-journal in a handy pocket size!
Boost employee productivity while promoting sustainability with journals made from recycled apples!
Is the pen mightier than the keyboard? According to Princeton and UCLA, the answer is yes. A study published in Psychological Science found that employees who hand-wrote notes outperformed those who took notes on a computer. The study measured memory retention, information processing, and engagement in the task at hand. If you find yourself redirecting distracted employees in meetings or reminding people of what they’re supposed to be working on, the answer might be as simple as getting eyes off screens and into a notebook!
Our Appeel custom journals can help you improve productivity while also telling a sustainable story. All of the inner pages are made from 100% recycled apple pulp after it has been skinned and squeezed for juice. The cover is made from a mixture of recycled apple peels and remnant scraps from other journal cover materials that would have been thrown away.
The final result is a cover that has the feeling of soft leather and high-quality lined pages. Every product also includes a small “Appeel” card that explains the story and process of how it is made.
Appeel Journals are decorated via a debossed imprint with an optional colored foil in one location. Additional “Book Boosters” include printed belly bands or an optional matching plastic pen inserted into the journal (note: Applewood and Pink Lady covers do not have an exact color match pen).
