Your Brand Story. Don’t Just Sit There.

It’s interesting to look at our own marketing pieces we developed twenty years ago when we started and the progressive changes we made with each passing year through to today. I can say without question that the quality of the brand and the way we represent it in various media has certainly become more creative, more professional and more effective over time. Today marks another step in that progression with the launch of our newly updated website. Please tell us what you think!

What about you and your organization? Has your brand and your marketing kept pace in effectively communicating what it is you actually do and offer to your clients and prospects? I suspect for some of you the answer to that question is no. Some of you have a logo that has not kept pace with the times, a website that is not mobile responsive, information on your site that is not up to date, or a lack of involvement in social media. Many of you think you have a great excuse and it goes something like this: “I’m super busy and things are going so well, so what does it matter?”

It matters because your competition changes every day and, while it may not be today or tomorrow, someone else is going to do a much better job of marketing themselves and making it more clear than you do what the benefit of working with them and their organization is instead of you. They will be believed. They will use your own website and your own marketing efforts or lack thereof as exhibit one in why you are no longer worthy and as good as they are. Are you going to wait until you get blindsided with this scenario to do anything about it or are you going to be proactive in showing the hypercompetitive world out there that you still have it going on?

Whatever you do, don’t just sit there doing nothing about it. Take action and tell those clients and prospects what they want to know and need to know about you and your organization.

I can’t say it better than Lucius in their song “Don’t Just Sit There”

Don’t just sit there
Tell me what I wanna know
What I wanna know

Don’t just sit there
Tell me what I wanna know
What I wanna know
Did you find love?
Have you found love?
Did you find love again?
Did you find love?
Have you found love?
Did you find love again?

Don’t just sit there
Tell me what I wanna know
What I wanna know

Don’t just sit there
Tell me what I wanna know
What I wanna know

Did you find love?
Have you found love?
Did you find love again?
Did you find love?
Have you found love?
Did you find love again?

In my heart I know this
In my heart I know this
It’s true
It’s true
It’s true
It’s true

Did you find love?
Have you found love?
Did you find love again?
Did you find love?
Have you found love?
Did you find love again?

Tell me what I wanna know
What I wanna know
